Every year, NovaLash hosts a competition for talented artists around the world to submit their work in the hopes of being recognized as Lash Artist of the Year, Fan’s Choice Artist of the Year, or winning Best Classic Lashes or Best Volume Lashes. This process takes months of deliberation and once the decision is made, NovaLash holds LASHoff, our annual party to collaborate and recognize our amazing artists and announce the winners.
People travel from all around the world to participate and meet fellow NovaLash artists. Covid-19 put a kink in the plans for 2020 and 2021, so NovaLash pivoted by cancelling their usual gala-like event and opting to post a video announcement on social media.
The 2020 and 2021 Fan’s Choice Award AND Lash Artist of the Year award went to the same artist this year, Michelle Williams, of Elgin, Scotland, who runs I-Lash salon.
