The Fellowship for British Hairdressing was delighted to welcome one of their latest brand partners, Innersense Organnic Beauty, to take the stage in Edinburgh to showcase the brand’s commitment to evolving the industry’s standards through live demonstrations, thoughtful dialogue, and a preview of their upcoming education curriculum.
Innersense Oraganic Beauty is a clean, high-performance wellness system that restores the highest health and harmony for your hair – from scalp to root.
The Fellowship’s Hair & Vision Event in collaboration with Innersense was dedicated to bridging the gap between traditional hairdressing and inclusive texture education. Centred around Innersense’s method and texture knowledge, the evening invited the audience to explore a more inclusive and intentional approach to professional education.
The event took place at Edinburgh’s exclusive Sky Bar venue, where the Innersense joined forces with the Fellowship to showcase their prestigious brand, diving deep into Innersense’s ethos and philosophy, whilst showcasing a series of colours and cut created by their ambassadors.
The evening began with a warm welcome from Sarah McCulloch, Project Scotland Support, who welcomed Innersense UK & EU Education Manager, Petteri Rantaeilola, to the stage to introduce the brand to the audience, setting the stage for an informative evening. Petteri was joined on stage with Eileen Halpin from the BB Hair Collective and Alison Jarvis from Alison Jarvis Hair, who presented two live model demonstrations – teaching the audience how to seamlessly blend and balance colour on curly hair and how to evoke an organic, lively feel.
Afterwards, Kimberly Taylor from the Curl Clinc and Scott Cooper from the BB Hair Collective showcased different styles to illustrate Innersense’s brand vision. Scott and Kimberly demonstrated methods to create a balanced, flattering shape through precision cutting and creative colouring, ultimately enhancing the hair’s natural texture and volume. The pair explored the fusion of genderless design elements, mastering adjustments in angles, lengths, and layer placements to customise styles to their client’s unique preferences – creating an informative evening for audience members who are not as established in working with curly hair.
Bringing the evening to a close, Sarah McCulloch welcomed the Innersense team and their models back to the stage and thanking everyone for their attendance and the artists for their incredibly insightful presentations.
Petteri Ranta Eilola, UK/EU Education Manager at Innersense said: “We’re honoured to be part of the Fellowship community—the heart of British hairdressing excellence. At Innersense Organic Beauty, our mission is to offer salon-first clean beauty and education that bridges the gap between texture-focused techniques and traditional hairdressing, including colour and styling. We’re deeply grateful for the thoughtful feedback we’ve received at our events so far, and we look forward to connecting with more hairdressers seeking a cleaner, more conscious alternative to conventional products—and a fresh, inclusive approach to education.”
Chloe Combe, an attendee at the Fellowship Hair & Vision Innersense event in Edinburgh said: “I thought the venue and set up was incredible – the stylists were so engaging with the audience. Perfect balance of informative and humour keeping everyone entertained from start to finish, some of the techniques they demonstrated I’d never seen before and the final looks with all the models were just phenomenal, gorgeous final looks.”
