100K Corner… with Stephanie Brown
Success stories at Ulta Beauty come in all forms – but Stephanie Brown’s is one of the most inspiring. As a Service District Educator, she not only supports stylists across multiple states but also proves daily that artistry and financial success go hand-in-hand.
“My average week behind the chair is anywhere from $700 to $1,300 – effortlessly,” she said. “Outside of phenomenal pay, we have amazing benefits – work-life balance, paid education, 401(k) – all the things.”
Stephanie celebrated six years with Ulta Beauty this June, and in that time, her career has evolved at lightning speed. “I started as a salon manager, and within six months, the Service District Educator role was created,” she explained. “I applied right away. Now, I oversee 14 doors across Mississippi, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Missouri, supporting stylists and salon teams.”
Her dedication to inclusivity and texture education has also made an impact on Ulta Beauty’s national education initiatives. “Texture is my baby,” she laughed. “When Texture became a bigger conversation, we were invited to the calls. We were able to share what the curly community needed and give that insight.”
Stephanie said she’s looking ahead to even bigger goals: “Next, I see myself on the regional platform with Ulta Beauty, continuing to impact Texture education. The opportunities are endless here.”
