With a cross-functional Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team focused on identifying opportunities to give back, Denman continually seeks new ways to serve both local and national causes.

Quilts for Carers
This inspiring charity hosts quilting workshops where attendees create beautifully handmade “quilty hugs” for care leavers across local Trusts. Each quilt features an uplifting message such as “Remember you are brilliant.”
Denman donated funds for essential materials—including wadding and backing fabrics—helping the organisation complete and deliver their quilts to young people transitioning out of the care system.

Ulster Wildlife
Volunteers from Denman joined Ulster Wildlife to create a new wildflower patch in Balloo Woodland Nature Reserve, boosting local insect biodiversity and supporting pollinators.
The team prepared the ground, planted wildflower seeds, and kept the area well-watered through the summer dry spell. Ulster Wildlife also built a bee bank to encourage breeding and further enhance biodiversity in the reserve.

The Great British Beach Clean
A group of 13 Denman colleagues took part in the Marine Conservation Society’s annual beach clean, collecting hundreds of discarded items—from nappies and plastic bags to balloons, clothing, and disposable BBQs.
With Denman located near the coast, beach cleans have become a regular (and enthusiastically attended) activity for the team.

Macmillan Cancer Support
In September, Denman’s headquarters raised an impressive £2,000 through a bake sale and raffle. Team members baked—and sampled—an array of treats, with all funds supporting Macmillan’s essential work for those living with cancer and their families.
