The Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s 2021 F.A.M.E. Team spent their last mentoring day of their year with four-times British Hairdresser of the Year, Angelo Seminara.
Brandon Messinger, Brooks Evans and Jose Domene spent the day with Goldwell International Creative Director, Angelo Seminara and Master Colourist John Spanton, at the Goldwell Academy in central London.
Angelo’s work is hugely influential and is avidly followed by hair professionals, photographers, stylists and models the world over and he gave the team an insight into his inspirations, coming up with his avant-garde concepts and the importance of honing your craft.
Brandon Messinger said: “I loved my day with Angelo! His mind is a maze wrapped in metaphors. Exciting was an understatement, it was an incredible experience to finish off our year.”
Jose Domene added: “Angelo is super talented, very humble and he has the best energy. It was such an interesting workshop, we played with hair, used colour, learnt new cutting techniques, styling techniques and Angelo and John coached us through it all. He is one of my all-time favourites in the industry so to actually meet him in person and have a one-to-one with him was a dream come true.”
This was the finale to an amazing year for the team, who have also spent time Errol Douglas, Akin Konizi, Antoinette Beenders and created three stunning collections.
