Industry Mourns Loss of Chris Williams of Rush Hair

We are saddened to share the news that Chris Williams, the International Colour Director for Rush Hair has passed away.

Joint CEOs of Rush Hair, Andy Phouli and Stell Andrew have shared their statement regarding the news:

“It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we are letting you know that our friend and colleague, Chris Williams passed away yesterday after a very short illness.

“Chris was a larger-than-life character and was known and loved by our Rush family and the industry, not only in the UK but throughout the hairdressing world.  In his role as International Colour Director, he changed the way we looked at colour, he inspired and motivated so many people both at Rush and those who attended his training courses and seminars.  As an educator he was selfless, sharing his skills and passion for the industry with so many.

“Our thoughts go to Chris’ family, his wife Sophie, daughter Lily and Julieanne, Laura and the team at Chichester along with our Rush Family who all looked to Chris for his wise words, guidance and of course for his inspiration. The contribution he made to Rush was incredible – the awards and accolades received were richly deserved and received by Chris in a humble yet appreciative way – as Andy Heasman who travelled the world with Chris said, “ he has the heart of a Viking and the soul of an angel.”

“A shining star has left us. Chris will be missed by us all, he will always be our ‘Colour Man’, we will love you forever and will never forget you. Your legacy lives on through your work.

“Love Andy, Stell and the Rush Family. xx”

The SalonEVO and BarberEVO team’s thoughts and condolences are with Chris’ family, and his Rush family too.
