The Hair and Beauty Charity is hosting its annual Jumpers for Dinners Day on Friday 8th December 2023 – and are asking hair, beauty and barber professionals, to join in by donning their cheesiest festive wear, to raise money all in the name of a good cause.
Imagine not being able to give your kids a festive gift or share a special Christmas dinner with your partner or family. These are the people we look after. Not strangers but people like you and me who work in beauty, hair or barbering. They may have had to stop work due to being ill, or their partner or child being ill. Since lockdown we have seen a massive increase in domestic abuse – people who have had to leave where they live and work for fear of their lives – many with children. And so this Christmas we are asking you and your team to put on your fave Christmas jumper, elf or Santa outfit for a small donation.
Event Details:
- Date: Friday 8th December 2023
- Admission: Participants are encouraged to make a donation to take part
- Purpose: All monies raised will provide Christmas dinners for those the Charity looks after.
- Prizes: Tag @hbcharityuk on Instagram to be in with a chance of winning an amazing prize –voted by the Fundraising Committee
With the cost of living escalating and the holiday season approaching many families are having to make a difficult choice between basic necessities and festive celebrations. With your help, the Hair and Beauty Charity will provide Christmas dinners and special treats to beneficiaries facing a challenging winter.
