L’Oréal USA Professional Products devision has announced that Leslie Marino will be taking on the newly created role of president, Professional Products Division American Brands, overseeing a portfolio which includes Redken, Matrix, Biolage, Mizani, Pureology, Baxter and L’Oréal Technique brands.

Leslie Marino has been involved with the L’Oréal brand for many years, beginning in the Luxe Division as general manager of fragrance. In 2011 she joined the Professional Products Division as general manager of Kérastase and Shu Uemura Art of Hair. Two years later, she became general manager of Redken and Pureology, and during her seven year tenure, delivered extraordinary growth, helping Redken to become an undisputed market leader.

David Greenberg, group president for North America, said: “Leslie’s passion for education, retail, her customers and employees has been exemplary for Redken, she has truly set the bar high and we’re excited for the future of our brands with Leslie at the helm.”

Leslie’s previous role will now be succeeded by Candy Gebhart, previously General Manager of Redken US.

Along with these changes, the iconic Matrix and Biolage brands will now transition into two separate brands running independently in the US. Heading Matrix US will be Carrington Cole, who has been with L’Oréal since 2003, while Mounia Tahiri will be leading the Biolage US team.

We look forward to seeing what each of these individuals do in these exciting new roles.
