OUT NOW: SalonEVO North America Issue #20 – June / July 2023

Our editor has been overloaded with inspiration and passion from attending Premiere Anaheim, The North American Hair Awards, and America’s Beauty Show in these last couple of months. From interviews on the NAHA red carpet with Danielle Keasling to showcasing our iconic photo booth at ABS and interviewing industry legends in our EVOmedia zone.

You can check out our thoughts, reviews, and all the fun we had in issue #20.

With summer on the horizon (at last) this issue we talk about all the latest seasonal trends and products. Amber Maynard Bolt shares her favorite things about summer trends, and Alfredo Lewis talks about achieving summer hair dreams, even when disaster strikes.

With June being Pride month, this issue we share the reasons to be proud of this industry, such as Jamie Digrazia’s exceptional Hair Has No Gender education and Ulta Beauty’s DEI accomplishments.

We also share tips on creating Pride-worthy hair, nails and beauty looks to embrace the rainbow!

Next, we talk about education. Sandra Humphries from KAO shares some exciting news about their new Synergy Education Program, and we cover the grand opening of the new Wahl Barber Academy in Chicago.

We also talk to legendary educators, such as Sam Villa, Keya Neal, and many more.

We are a nosey bunch here at EVO and we want to know what essential tools and products are behind the best artists out there – from NAHA editorial stylist of the year, Timothy Cabell, to GIA winner Tyler Kelbert, and new Andis Global Educator, Sabra Clark. We share all.

Finally, let’s talk tech. You can’t talk about evolving and looking forward, without talking about tech. Shallynn Johnston tells us about Dyson’s innovative technology, Rebecca Cleary(aka BEX) tells us how she has brought her salon into the future with Square, and Jay OneDeluxe tells us how Caliber has revolutionized the flat iron.

We hope you enjoy this issue! Order your beautifully presented print copy here.
