Halloween:
We start this issue off with a special feature on Halloween, showcasing all the creativity, expression, and boundary-pushing art that this season inspires. Kicking off our Halloween Feature and gracing our cover, we have the leader of avant-garde, Robert Masciave, who shares his journey, his creative process, and his advice on how to step out of the comfort zone. Next, we had the artistic queens at NAF create bespoke Halloween-inspired nails, to give you inspo for this seasons’ classy claws. If you’re not going to wear a mask this Halloween, you better have the right makeup. Erika Marie Ni Bhriain chats with us about how she creates her other-worldly looks.
Haircare/Aftercare :
Healthy hair will never go out of style, and it’s the ultimate goal for most clients in the salon. In this issue, we talk about all the treatments you can add to your service menu, to add that bit of boost to your client’s hair, and your revenue. Introducing the feature, we have Steve Rowbottom, Co-founder and co-director of Westrow Salons in Yorkshire, to offer his advice on offering the best hair care experience. Warran Boodaghian, Head of Technical at HOB Academy, shares his lessons in keeping hair as healthy as can be, especially during the colouring process.

Finally, hair health starts at the root. We talk to Anabel Kingsley at the Philip Kingsley clinic, to talk about scalp health, and the treatments available for those struggling with hair loss, broken, or damaged hair.

Sit back and say ‘spa!’ These days spas are stepping up their game, offering some of the industry’s best services, from innovative beauty treatments, award-winning hair salons, to aesthetic services and much more. Introducing the feature, we have Liz McKeon, the beauty business expert, who gives insight on how to expand your beauty business and fulfil your potential. We then explore some of the interiors and services offered by some of the top spas in the UK, such as The Urban Retreat, and The Linnean.
Barbering:
In today’s age, the salon and barbering industries are becoming more and more overlap, and it’s important that they have a thorough understanding of one another. In this feature, we showcase some of the most inventive new barbershops, who are upping the barbershop game, such as Parlous Barbers. We also showcase The Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Project Men Collaborative Photoshoot with BarberEVO.
