Phorest has announced a major expansion of its medi-aesthetic functionality, launching a suite of new tools designed to support consultation-led care, professional standards and consistent clinic operations.
Best known for its work across hair, beauty, barbering and spas, Phorest has seen growing adoption among medi-aesthetic clinics in the UK as long-standing customers expanded into advanced skin treatments, laser and injectables. These clinics shared familiar foundations, appointment-led services, trust-based consultations and long-term client relationships, but required systems that could better support higher levels of documentation, consent and operational rigour.
Rather than repositioning overnight, Phorest took a considered, customer-led approach. Over several years, it worked closely with early medi-aesthetic clinics to understand how professional expectations were changing in practice and where existing software no longer reflected the realities of modern clinics.
That work has now resulted in a significant expansion of Phorest’s medi-aesthetic capabilities, formally launched for the UK market.
Newly launched functionality includes:
- Structured aesthetic documentation, including dot phrasing and clinical notes
- Supervisor sign-off with stored digital signatures
- Digital consent workflows, including consent sent at booking and client image upload
- Enhanced mark-up tools, easy before/after side-by-side photo comparisons
- Face mapping and consultation planning tools
- Lead management from enquiry to consultation in one centralised dashboard
- Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) options
- Memberships and add-on services
Combined with Phorest’s established platform for booking, marketing and payments, and now further strengthened by AI-driven innovation, these new medi capabilities give clinics the structure, visibility and control needed to grow, without compromising the patient experience or increasing operational burden. Already, more than 1.1 million consultation forms have been completed by Phorest customers across the UK and Ireland, reflecting the scale at which these tools are now embedded in daily practice.
The launch builds on close collaboration with clinics operating at different levels of scale and specialisation from multi-location clinics like Thérapie Clinic and Sisu, to highly specialised practices including the Institute of Dermatologists and doctor-led clinics like Dr Rasha London.
Georgina Boyce, Director of Operations, Dr Rasha Clinic, London, said: “Moving to Phorest has been transformative for our clinic. After experiencing limitations with our previous CRM provider, we were looking for a system that could genuinely support a modern, consultation-led aesthetic practice. The onboarding process was seamless, with hands-on guidance and consistent support that gave us confidence from day one. Since implementing Phorest, our operations run smoothly, our team finds the system intuitive, and we have greater visibility across the clinic.”
Luke Doolin, Country Manager of Phorest, concludes, “We didn’t decide to enter medi-aesthetics, our customers brought us there. These updates reflect years of listening and building alongside clinics as their services evolved, while staying true to the people-first approach Phorest was built on.”
Clinics attending ACE London (13–14 March) are invited to visit Phorest to see the new medi-aesthetic functionality in action and speak with the specialist team. Phorest will also host a dedicated session in the In Practice Theatre with the Institute of Dermatologists, exploring what it takes to scale clinical excellence across medical, cosmetic, surgical dermatology and longevity science. To support clinics in understanding what’s new, Phorest will host a live webinar on Monday, 9th March 2026 at 10:00am for medi-aesthetic clinics, walking through the latest functionality and how it’s being used in practice. Register here.
