With another successful year under their belt, Rainbow Room International brought together all eleven salons for a night of inspiration, recognition and celebration at their 36th Annual Congress, held at Òran Mór, Glasgow.
The prestigious event, which highlights the achievements of the group’s talented stylists, featured an evening of awards and entertainment, and gave out over £40,000 in bonuses.

The night kicked off with champagne, where guests mingled whilst enjoying live jazz music and catch-ups with fellow team members to mark the occasion. As the evening unfolded, attendees were treated to an exquisite three-course meal, setting the stage for the much-anticipated annual awards ceremony.
Taking to the stage, Alan Stewart, Co-Founder of Rainbow Room International, welcomed guests and expressed gratitude to the teams for their dedication and exceptional work over the last twelve months He also acknowledged the judging panel’s difficult task in selecting the winners, given the incredibly high standard of talent and commitment demonstrated across all salons and entries.

Recognising Excellence
The awards celebrated the best and brightest talents within Rainbow Room International, with awards spanning a range of categories. Stylists were honoured for their dedication to self-improvement, client care, technical skills, and social media impact.
The most prestigious accolades of the night included the coveted Fantastic Hairdresser Award and Salon Team of the Year. Gold, silver, and bronze awards were also presented, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to both Western-style achievement recognition and the eastern philosophy of Kaizen – continuous improvement.

A special moment of the evening was the Academy Graduation, celebrating the next generation of hairdressing talent and their journey into the industry, and Uddingston picking up the Salon Team of the Year Award.
Winner also included Jodie Hall from Bearsden picking up Fantastic Hairdresser of the Year, George Square for Reception Team of the Year, Gabby Craig Academy Trainer of the Year and Rachel MacDonald of Ayr taking away Stylist Promotional Video of the Year.
Following the awards, the night continued in style, with live music from Groove Supply, led by Breck Stewart, son of co-founders Linda and Alan Stewart. Salon teams took to the dance floor, celebrating their successes and looking ahead to another exciting and prosperous year in 2025
