The Power Of Makeup, the podcast inspired during the 2021 lockdown, has returned for its second season. Marking a collaboration between Timely Business Management Software and Lan Nguyen-Grealis, the 12-episode season tells the story of embracing community and education in the creative industry.
Hosted by Lan Nguyen-Grealis, world-renowned make-up artist and author of two bestselling books, the season will feature interviews with a specially selected roster of industry powerhouses about their roles, talents, and what the power of make-up means to them.
The star-studded line-up includes BBC1 Glow Up Series Two Runner Up and social media sensation James Mac, CEO of the British Beauty Council and industry aficionado Millie Kendal as well as journalist, Editor and Marketing Lecturer, Hannah Kane.
“Lan is one of the most inspirational — and impactful — makeup artists in the world, whose skills have been witnessed by billions of people. It’s an important time to tell the story about our industry and its people right now, as we undergo a profound transformation toward what we hope the future looks like, while still dealing with the challenges of the past two years,” says Tamara Reid, Global Head of Partnerships at Timely, of the series.
“We hope listeners will come away with a better understanding of what shapes the industry’s most sought-after creatives, and how they’re shaping ours as a company.”
