The Fantastic Hairdresser is Coming to a Town Near You to Give You Successful Salon’s ‘Secret Sauce’

The Fantastic Hairdresser founder, Alan Austin-Smith, is set to travel the UK and Ireland, to deliver YOU with the winning formula for running a successful salon business…the secret sauce, if you will.

Leader of the Fantastic Hairdresser brand, Alan, which became the leading support and education company in the hairdressing industry, will be hosting one-day seminars. Alan approaches the key formula for a successful salon in the seminars: passion + profit = the secret sauce.

Aptly named Passionate Profit, the tour will hit ten major cities across the UK and Ireland, kicking off on the 20th of May in Cork and will run until the 12th of November in Cambridge. The tour is sponsored by Floomly, the exciting new salon software, which is taking salons by storm with its results-focused salon software package. With 30 years of hairdressing knowledge integrated into the software – at every flume-like twist and turn – Floomly is the perfect companion.

This event will explore the idea that  passion, without profit, doesn’t make a successful business – and similarly, a profit focused business cannot thrive without passion. However, combining the two factors – passion AND profit – creates a ‘secret sauce’ that is the magic ingredient of the most celebrated businesses.

Passionate Profit will see Alan examine the pitfalls of passion-only businesses; revealing why relying solely on passion can lead to burnout. He’ll also share his insight into the dangers of profit-driven approaches without genuine passion, and how this can affect your team’s motivation and your salons long-term success.

The seminar will include priceless advice on how to successfully merge the two elements to strike the perfect balance between passion AND profit – creating a salon that not only thrives financially, but one that is also a fulfilling and inspiring workspace.

“A business needs to be profitable enough to do two things,” said Alan.

“Reinvest in the business, as well as benefit the owner. If the business isn’t profitable enough to do both, then there is either no re-investment in the team, the business, the marketing and training.

“Or there is nothing left for the owner of the business; leading to tiredness, stress and a lack of balance, whilst wondering why on earth they are doing this! Something needs to change – and my seminar is designed to teach salon owners and managers how to achieve this.”

Sam Austin-Smith, the CEO and founder of Floomly, commented: “The partnership with Floomly is a natural pairing, reflecting the built-in coaching service offered as standard by the ground-breaking software – the product of 30 years knowledge, experience and expertise.

“Floomly draws on interactions with hairdressing businesses of all sizes to build a responsive, reliable system that addresses real issues facing real salons. Created for anyone working in a hairdressing environment – namely salon owners, salon managers, stylists and front of house teams – Floomly’s considered approach eradicates some of the most common software tech-aches.”
