The Backstage Breakdown:
- First, detangle and prep the hair with UNITE 7SECONDS Detangler and the FHI Heat UNbrush.
- On damp hair, thoroughly mist UNITE 7SECONDS Anti-Frizz Thermo Mist to smooth, protect, and block humidity. Then use BOOSTA Volumizing Spray directly at the roots for lift and grip.
- Using the FHI Heat Innovator Pro Power Speed Hair Dryer and concentrated nozzle, blow dry the products into the hair while creating root lift and smoothing the ends. Pro tip: To help keep hair smooth and frizz free, use the FHI Heat Innovator Polisher Pro Brush after blowdrying.
- Working section-by-section, mist MAXCONTROL Spray onto each individual section of hair. Curl that same section using the FHI Heat Platform Bounce Pro Curling Iron 1.5” and pin to cool. Repeat this process until each section is curled and pinned.
- Allow the hair to fully cool in pins to set the shape. To speed up the cooling process backstage, swap the nozzle on the FHI Heat Innovator Pro Power Speed Hair Dryer and use the diffuser on the cool setting.
- Once the hair is fully cool, remove the pins and start to shake out the hair with your hands. Brush through to shape the hair, really concentrating on getting rid of the sectioning from the pin set.
- Finish with TEXTURIZA Spray for added volume and texture, and U:DRY Fresh Dry Conditioner to tame frizz/flyaways and add a satin finish.
