The Electronic Daisy Carnival (EDC) is Orlando’s hottest music festival, full of chart-topping electronic dance musicians, carnival rides, and interactive art installations. This year, Booksy, the leader in booking and business technology for the beauty industry, sent two winning beauty professional to EDC Orlando to style some of the world-renowned music artists performing at the event! Congratulations to the winners of Booksy’s and Idle Hand Collective’s Get Discovered Backstage Contest, Nachiely Rosado and Alicia Valdez!
Nachiely Rosado worked her nail magic backstage at EDC Orlando, and her creative nail art fit perfectly with the bright and colorful vibe of the festival. Located in Casselberry, Florida, her business Nails by Nachi has earned many five-star reviews on her Booksy profile from new and returning customers. Nachiely’s Instagram – @nachielymarie – showcases her creative and decorative nail art, and her portfolio of work hasn’t gone unnoticed. Nachiely was grateful to be recognized by Booksy and to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work at EDC Orlando.
“It was an amazing and unique experience! I met a bunch of people from the industry and even met Byrd Mena. This experience opened other opportunities. I was invited to other Las Vegas and Florida carnivals with Idle Hand as a result of this. I’m very excited and thankful!” Nachiely commented.
Alicia Valdez also got the chance to head backstage at EDC Orlando and style hair for several musicians.
