HairCon continues to revolutionise the hair industry with the announcement that internationally renowned, Noise, will be part of their weekend’s event.
Noise originated in 2012 as an alternative to the tried and tested corporate shows, the beauty industry continuously provides, to the establishment of our profession. Noise is the antidote to sedate and frequently inaccessible offerings, providing a true beacon of raw creativity and pure inspiration to the young and hungry within our craft.
Since then, it has showcased some of the world’s best creative talent at legendary venues across the globe, from the Ebisu Liquid Room in Tokyo, ICA in London and the Whiskey a Go-Go in LA. And now it’s coming to HairCon in Manchester, which is taking place from June 22 to June 24 2024.
Noise is the creation of Richard Ashforth, Creative Director and co-founder of Saco, an international salon and academy group originating in London and now established across 11 countries, spread over 3 continents. Richard first studied Art and Art History, before embarking upon a career in hairdressing. After a glittering career with Vidal Sassoon that would last almost 20 years, he then launched Saco.
Richard says, “HairCon is challenging sterile traditional hair exhibitions and so this makes it an ideal location for Noise.”
Taking place in the iconic O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester UK (which, for the last decade has welcomed some of the biggest music artists in the world), HairCon promises to be an unforgettable experience with a mind-blowing line-up of artists. Announced already are Adam Reed, Jack & The Wolfe, Sally & Jamie Brooks, Heffy, Lisa Farrall, Josh Lamonica, John Vial, Beverly C, Jordanna Cobella, Robert Eaton, Desmond Murray, Ashleigh Hodges, Andrew Barton, Karoliina Saunders, Errol Douglas, Michelle Griffin, Simon Shaw, Dean Gleeson, Colin McAndrew, Alan Beak and Cal Newsome.
