Denman doesn’t just manufacture quality professional brushes; they provide community pet rescue services too! Hairdresser Lauren Dearne from Bangor, Northern Ireland recently lost her beloved cat Fibo.
“I noticed little Fibo hadn’t been home since Tuesday morning. I got more worried after a full 24 hours, so I started reaching out to local ‘lost and found pets’ pages on Facebook to get the word out,” says Lauren.
Thankfully on Friday morning the Lost and Found Pets North Down and Ards team contacted Lauren to let her know that staff at the Denman offices nearby knew where Fibo was.
Lauren rushed to the site and found a member of the Denman team waiting. Fibo had managed to get stuck in the drains on site and with the team’s help Lauren managed to reach down and grab him. Fibo was right as rain after a good meal and no worse for his ordeal in the Denman drains.
Lauren says “I’ve been a hairdresser for 10 years this year, and I’m now based in an amazing salon in my local high street, Jacqui Bothwell Hair in Bangor NI. I’ve always had a passion for hair and the way that the smallest things can have the biggest impacts to people lives and how you can really change the way people feel about themselves after just a small time sat in the salon chair.
