Celebrity hairstylist Graham Nation passed away aged 39 as industry pays tribute

Beloved celebrity hair stylist Graham Nation passed away aged 39 after collapsing at an LA gym.

His clientele included the likes of Demi Moore, Simone Ashley, Madison Beer, Meghann Fahy, Leslie Mann, Alix Earle, and many more.

Last August, Graham and his partner Tonya Brewer announced that they had welcomed their first child, son Romeo West.

He was one of the prominent “Fekkai Five” beauty influencers for the luxury haircare brand, and also worked as a brand ambassador for Hattori Hanzo Shears, Hairtalk Extensions, and SexyHair.

Just days before his death, he shared a commercial he worked on for the Super Bowl. “My first ever Super Bowl commercial! What an absolute blast to work on,” he wrote. “Thank you Cathrine O’Hara for having me apart of this epic commercial.”

The Wall Group, Graham’s talent agency, released a statement to Behind The Chair magazine. “Graham was a one-of-a-kind soul who impacted every single person he met,” they shared. “We are honored to have been part of his journey and to have helped him share his artistry with the world. Our hearts are broken and we will miss him dearly.”

In the comments under his last Instagram post, tributes flooded in for the talented stylist. Hair stylist Divinity Ray wrote: “10 years of knowing you, from cutting hair in our hometown to witnessing you take LA by storm. You were never too busy to be thoughtful. You were never too big to smile at everyone. You were the most incomprehensible artist. Enough talent to have the biggest ego but instead so humble and sweet. I always described you as an angel on earth. I just never thought you would leave this soon. Rest in Power, brother. the world lost one of its brightest lights.
