In an amazing turn of events, eight students from Glasgow Clyde College for placed in the highly anticipated Wella Xposure Awards.
This number makes up two thirds of the finalists for the awards, and puts the college head and shoulders above any other education establishment in the finals – as they have the most finalists.
The last year, as we all know, has been exceptionally difficult and challenging especially for the hairdressing and barbering industry, with there being a substantial dip in those wanting to get started in the industry.
For those who have, training and learning have proven to be an up-hill battle as the fundamentals of it could not be carried out during social distancing.
The students at Glasgow Clyde College have proven that with hard work and determination rising through any struggle is possible. They should all be incredibly proud of themselves – good luck to them all.
