Since launching more than 25 years ago, Great Lengths have educated thousands of stylists across the globe in extensions applications and techniques. In that time, the world of hairdressing has evolved at a rapid pace, with ongoing product innovation, changes in client demands and expectations and, of course, the explosion of social media.
All these exciting developments mean there’s always something new to learn, which is why Great Lengths have decided to launch a new addition to their education for 2022: their first ever Finishing School!
This immersive one-day course allows certified Great Lengths stylists to work on a model, alongside a GL Master, to enhance their skills, refresh their offering, and increase their business potential.
Designed to increase confidence and provide new ideas for even the most experienced extensionist, the session will include an overview of application and placement, troubleshooting tips, and trend-led updates for styling and finishing hair extensions.
Taking a deeper dive into the business of extensions, attendees will also be inspired with relevant and exciting new ideas to keep clients coming back – from follow-up blow-dry appointments, styling sessions to product recommendations, removal and rebooking.
The Great Lengths Finishing School will also have a focus on content creation, ensuring attendees are confident and empowered with the skills required to showcase their work on social media – learning not just to gain followers, but how to turn those likes and shares into committed real-life clients.
In a fast-paced and ever-evolving industry, the sessions have been carefully created to empower extensionists with everything they need to thrive in 2022 and beyond.
